Something about logging in and seeing the month Febuary on my profil bugs me, so I had to do something about it, and as a plus Oktober has a nice ring to it.

It's something that goes beyond the throaty Oct!(no matter how fun it sounds) at the begining on the word, which gives it no other meaning than that in Rome it was the 8th month of their year...

Because for me it represents the begining of my favorite halv of the year... a half that would be perfect in an imaginery world where it did not mark the begining of the school year, but i do my bedste to take in all the good i kan absorb in these busy busy months

& and the family recipes *double yum*
Nights Spent Indoors
around a fire, watching scary movies

not to mention the added Halloween activities...
which involve my least favorite past time
of being forced to walk into a room
that i know will have monsters
that will naturally gravitate
towards me in the desire
of hearing me scream...
maybe i look like
i will have a
good
loud
scream
... who am i to know
what attrakts them
espcially to me...
but being flanked by family and friends
maybe a little more or less brave
than me, and then recounting
the tale, of imagined
herorism on the
ride home
apple
cider
in hand... and mouth

it makes it all worth it!



For me it's a return to the simple joys in life, after a sommer spent trying to cram every adventure imaginable into the 2 month period, advetnures taking me far away from my home, family and friends... exploration, growth, life changing expieriences... blah blah blah. Of course the rest of the year is chuck full of this... but we do make it a point to include this and more in our summer vacations, our way of romanticizing the season I guess... and not wasting the energi boost from sun, heat, and longer light-filled hours.

but fall...

The simplicity in reaping in a harvest of apples and eating your baked creation... and making a day out of it!
The simplicity of seeking thrills, fear for fear's sake,the places your imagination and small spooky surprises can take you, and making a night of it!
The simplicity of spending time with family, turning chores into games, passing around a football, gathering everyone together for a meal, and making a Holiday of it!

Fall is a season of excuses really, turning the dying embers of summer into something enjoyable, excuse after excuse for something fun and exciting to do. Or rather... it is one of innovation!

(I've even made the changing colors of the trees an excuse to grab out my camera and take up a hobby I've been too busy to give time too. And even take on the 100 photothemes challenge... each theme appearing :in these: in my photo titles... just for clarity.)

...so if i may reiterate FALL IS FAR SUPERIOR!! And only a season away from Christmas, definite bonus points!

hmmm... so in post-conclusion this speel should definetly do as a replacement for last febuary's rant about my post-highschool future, if it's even readable XD
